Kids Unlimited Peanut Butter Project

On Friday, December 13th, sixteen Rotarians and friends showed up to pack groceries for our Peanut Butter Project at Kids Unlimited Academy. The project began in 2019 and is the result of club member Cheryl Harrison’s passion. Each student attending KUA is sent home for the holiday break with a jar of peanut butter and a small sack of groceries. This year our volunteers packed 625 bags of groceries containing fruit and assorted snacks. To make Friday’s packing successful, six volunteers did all of the grocery shopping the day before, plus two volunteers picked up all the peanut butter and wrapped each one with festive ribbons.

Thank you to all our volunteers for making this project a success.
