Youth Exchange Student News:

Nathalya Dobrowolski has arrived and is setting in.  We are still very much in need of a host family for the winter (Dec-March). Please contact Sally Buck at sbuckemail@gmail.com  or 402-916-0047. Host family adults must apply, be vetted (background check and interview plus home visit), and complete an online training. Linda is hosting for fall and says all that isn’t a big deal. Plus hosting is really fun. Nathy is a great teenager and very easy to host!
Nathy (pronounced Nachi) is from Brazil, speaks good English, and is very much a STEM student. She is attending South Medford High School and is very self-reliant in her school work. She loves animals especially cats, small children, and loves to travel to various places. She is likes watching sports and wants to know more about American sports (football,  basketball, baseball)
Please consider hosting. Youth Exchange is a cultural exchange opportunity. It is interesting learning how things are done differently elsewhere.
Also, Nathy is looking to earn money for a ski trip to Bend in February and the amazing district end of the year trip.  Do you have any odd jobs like babysitting, yard work or office work Nathy can do? She volunteered several days already at the Children’s Museum and loves young children. Contact Linda Brown during the fall at lindabrown@outlook.com or 541-499-2597
