January 14th -Downtown Medford Key Changes

Our first meeting of the new year brought us a presentation on Key Changes in Downtown, presented by Annie Jenkins of the Downtown Medford Association

Annie Jenkins shared an overview of how Downtown Medford is evolving through intentional collaboration and activation. Progress is being driven by a shared effort among local businesses, property owners, community partners, city leadership, stakeholders, and residents.

The Downtown Medford Association is focusing on five priority areas: placemaking and beautification, events and programming, advocacy and collaboration, marketing and promotion, and economic vitality.

These priorities are showing up through visible, people-focused efforts like downtown socials, clean-up projects, flowers and lighting, Third Friday events, giveaways, and strong support of local restaurants and merchants.

The result is a downtown with more reasons to gather, stronger local businesses, growing community pride, and increasing economic and cultural vitality. Momentum is building, and the work continues with the community at the center.
