Rogue Retreat Update

Sam Engel provided an update on the impactful work being done by Rogue Retreat.

Established in 1998, Rogue Retreat delivers case management services through supported housing and shelter programs. Each year, they serve more than 1,300 individuals—providing shelter to approximately 550 people each night—and distribute over 150,000 meals.

A defining strength of the organization is its team: 75% of staff have lived experience, represented at every level of the organization. This perspective deeply informs their approach and effectiveness.

Rogue Retreat operates through a comprehensive, interconnected model that includes outreach, shelter, and housing. While they are widely recognized for their shelter services, their core mission centers on case management—helping individuals transition into permanent housing. Their ultimate goal is to eliminate homelessness.

Looking ahead, Rogue Retreat is preparing to develop a two-acre parcel in Medford as part of their continued efforts to expand services and impact.
