Sip & Stroll – By-the-numbers

Our First Annual Sip & Stroll for Polio held on Saturday, October 3rd—was a tremendous success! Together, we raised more than $3,000 to support Rotary’s global efforts to end polio, with every dollar contributed to the cause amplified by a 2:1 match from the Gates Foundation.

Nearly 100 enthusiastic “strollers”, including 19 Medford Rogue Rotarians, took to downtown Medford, sipping, snacking, and exploring their way through eight local restaurants and pubs that generously supported the event. Their participation, along with the support of our local businesses, made our inaugural Sip & Stroll a wonderful success!

It was a fantastic day of community, camaraderie, and great food and drink—all for a great cause! We’re already looking forward to next year’s Second Annual Sip & Stroll, with plans to make it even bigger and better. We hope to welcome even more strollers downtown to enjoy Medford’s outstanding restaurants and pubs while helping Rotary continue its mission to end polio worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported our local businesses, and helped make a difference in the fight to eradicate polio!
