Dolly’s Foundation has recognized Sept 25th — 9-2-5— as a day to celebrate Dolly and all the good things she accomplished in her life, both professionally and as an amazing philanthropist. It’s her Imagination Library program that has made it possible for 5000 children in Jackson County to receive books monthly and create their love of reading.
United Rotary Clubs of Southern Oregon and Jackson County Library Services are hosting a one-hour tribute to Dolly on Sept 25th at the Rogue Valley Mall. (Join us by Cookie Connection)
We will have a phone booth set up to record stories and thoughts, a butterfly wall to leave a message, a backdrop to take pictures with Dolly, music to share, and together, take a moment to reflect on what wonderful human being she was….
Dress up if you like, but definitely join us, and share in a celebration of a life well lived. Public is invited so share this out!
