Club Meeting 8/6 -Fry, Thrive, or Die a FUN-GI presentation

Today we heard from Dr Mike Amaranthus, who is a world-renowned mycologist and scientist, who even has several mushroom and truffles named after him. Dr Mike believes “fungi” should emphasize “fun”. As a two-time cancer survivor, getting to know this fantastic group of mushrooms has enriched and perhaps saved his life.

He presented information from his local guide on common local mushrooms and how to find them, and his website is a wealth of information to dive into on all things mushrooms. Edibles, Medicinal, Poisonous, and even Hallucinogenic.   https://www.frythriveordie.com/
