Vision Statement
Together we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Welcome
Our members are dedicated and passionate about promoting fellowship, friendship and fun through our service projects, activities and club meetings.
Founded in 1977, we are the largest Rotary club in Southern Oregon. Our members can provide you with opportunities to connect with leaders, exchange ideas and impact our community and the world.
We make a difference through our donation of thousands of hours of community service and dollars. Our programs include coaching and supporting Kids Unlimited basketball, building school and nonprofit playgrounds, installing solar panels in Hope Village and recognizing local students through our student recognition program. Our foundation awards college scholarships to approximately ten high school seniors each year, and our club was one of the leaders in the Save Mt Ashland ski resort campaign. Internationally, we have installed water filtration systems in Guatemala and are actively involved in Polio eradication.

Medford Rogue Rotary Strategic Plan 2023
By 2023, Medford Rogue Rotary Club will be the most effective and engaged civic club in the state with a large, demographically heterogeneous membership that actively participates in well-defined local and international projects and services, supported by a well-branded signature event.
We will have accomplished this through:
New Member Criteria
For those members thinking about proposing a new member to the club, please read the current guidelines for new members.
The membership criteria of this club are: adult persons who:
- demonstrate good character, integrity, and leadership;
- possess good reputation within their business, profession, and/or community; and
- are willing to serve in their community and/or around the world.
Proposed members should demonstrate meeting this criteria through an established reputation as a leader in a professional position
The following types of proposed members may demonstrate meeting the criteria in other ways such as a strong recommendation from the applicant’s employer or professional mentor:
- professionals who would bring diversity to the club through specialized expertise such as IT, engineering, business, architecture, medicine, industry, manufacturing, etc: or
- emerging leaders not yet established in a career; or,
- individuals who have demonstrated significant leadership in other ways such as military service, Peace Corps, or ministry: or,
- retirees if previously a Rotarian.
All proposed members must demonstrate ability to participate in club activities both financially and with their time.

DACdb for Medford Rogue Members
Information regarding DACdb and how members can utilize it.
The DaCdb was developed to assist districts and clubs to meet their administrative reporting requirements to Rotary International, and to foster easier communications within the district for the district leadership, district committees, club leadership, and of course the members of Rotary Clubs. Thus, we have developed a system that easily addresses all of these functions, with a high level of security to assure privacy of all the data collected and maintained by the DaCdb. The DaCdb system is an on-line, web based system that provides access to the current information anywhere, and at anytime you can access the internet.
So, here are the functions, features, and benefits of the DaCdb system, arranged from the Rotarian member to club secretary and finally the district "views" of the DaCdb.
Each Rotarian/member may access their own data, and make any changes to the fields in their record, such as:
- Nickname/Badge Name
- Address changes
- Phone Number changes
- E-mail address changes
- submitting their Photo
- Classification
- Business position and other Business information
- Rotary recognitions: Paul Harris, Sustaining Member, Club Past President, Past District Governor, etc.
- General comments: College, family, hobbies, etc.
In addition, the Rotarian member may request and then view or print a Club Membership Directory, which lists all members in THEIR club, with Contact and E-mail data and a member's photo (if photo has been submitted). This feature is great for new members of a large club, since it gives them a club roster (with photos) in a couple of mouse clicks. And, the Rotarian member can also view the "Meeting Times and Locations" of other clubs for "make-ups", or just to attend an interesting program (via the club's calendar of Events and Programs). Also, the Rotarian member can view the district leadership and district committees (with their contact information). Although the system is "user-friendly, and somewhat intuitive", there is a comprehensive set of "Frequently Asked Questions and Answers" section, as well as a series of "how to" interactive training videos for all this functions to assist the user.
And, once a “member change” is submitted to the DaCdb, it is also automatically forwarded to the RI database (if it is a field that RI maintains in its database). We believe the Rotarian member "knows" their own data BEST, so please encourage them to update their own record.
