Join us for a FREE community event where families can create ‘sweet’ memories while strolling through a life-size Candyland village!

Enter the Candyland Village, then stroll through Lollipop Lane, Peppermint Forest, Gummy Bear Picnic, Gumdrop Garden, Gingerbread Delight, Cupcake Crossing, Ice Cream Island, Chocolate Mountain, Cotton Candy Corner, Marshmallow Meadow, Licorice Lagoon, and visit with King Candy!

Some key dates to know:
– January 26 – Packing the ‘gift bags’
– January 27-29 (Tuesday – Thursday) – event set up
– January 30 – February 1 (Friday to Sunday) actual event.
– February 2 (Monday) teardown
Some major differences from last year:
– Added an extra day (Friday Jan 30) to allow more families through Candyland
– Community/Business partners taking responsibility of different lands to help reduce the number of volunteers needed through our Adopt-A-Land partnership, Adding another day, we still have a huge need for volunteers.
– We currently have 304 volunteer slots to be filled.
– No need to attend a separate training session; we will be sending you instructions via email as we get closer to the event with specifics to what you will need to do for your role
– More costume characters to sign up for this year
– Added volunteer coordinator assistant roles
– Added more Floaters (people who are willing to go wherever needed) to allow us be flexible
Other things to note:
– If shifts are close together, it could look like there is some overlap and it may deter you from signing up for both. Don’t worry about the small overlap. That overlap time is so volunteers can get there early and stay a bit later if needed. Because you are already there, you won’t have any problem switching to a new role, so please go ahead and sign up for multiple roles that show some overlap.
Something else you can do:
Another thing you can do to help is give this registration link to friends and family who might be willing help with the event. We really do need an army of volunteers, so we would really appreciate you’re helping us find more volunteers.
