Kids Unlimited Peanut Butter Project
What do you get when you combine 485 jars of peanut butter and 485 bags of groceries with 14 Rotarians the day before holiday break at Kid’s Unlimited? If you guessed the Medford Rogue Rotary’s annual Peanut Butter Project, you are correct! This program began in 2019 and provides peanut butter and healthy snacks for students at Kids Unlimited over the winter break.
The program is organized by Rotarian Cheryl Harrison and is a great volunteer service project and fellowship opportunity for our club. Four club members joined Cheryl to shop on the Monday before, and then 14 Rotarians and friends gathered to form an assembly line and pack the bags on Tuesday (12/16). Earlier in the week Cheryl and a friend wrapped bows on each jar of peanut butter adding that extra festive touch.
Thank you, Cheryl and all volunteers for another great year supporting this program.
