Medford Rogue Rotary Membership Options
Besides the well-known traditional membership and meeting on Wednesday at noon at Rogue Valley County Club, there are multiple other options for being part of our wonderful Club. These provide platforms to expose Medford Rogue Rotary to multiple individuals and businesses.
BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP
The business would agree to sponsor at least one employee to become an active member of Medford Rogue Rotary (the “business representative”) at regular Club dues and expectations. The business member can designate an additional “business associate”. Discounted dues of $100 are paid for each business associate; they are encouraged to participate in club activities and service projects and must attend at least one social per year. However, their participation in club fundraising such as Sergeant-at-arms is strictly voluntary. The business associate is not listed as an official member of the Rotary club for RI purposes, but will be considered to be a member of the Medford Rogue Rotary club.
PARTNER MEMBERSHIP
A partner can become an eligible member of the Rotary club by having a partner who is already a club member and has been a member for at least one year. Discounted dues of $100; they are encouraged to participate in club activities and service projects and must attend at least one social per year. However, their participation in club fundraising such as Sergeant-at-arms is strictly voluntary. The partner is not listed as an official member of the Rotary club for RI purposes, but will be considered to be a member of the Medford Rogue Rotary club.
SATELLITE CLUB
The Satellite Club of Medford Rogue Rotary is expanding membership by meeting the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Gold Rush Brewery (hopefully starting in mid-August pending new members approval to the Club). This isn’t a new club, it’s a club within a club so participation is expected in the service projects, fundraisers, and fellowship of MRR. Members of the Satellite Club are still members of Rotary International and District 5110. The yearly dues are $190. Members of the MRR Wednesday Club are welcome to visit the Satellite Club but members of the Satellite Club are limited in visitations to the Wednesday meetings, similar to guests.
