Shaun Franks is a dedicated advocate for sustainable development and climate action, leveraging his expertise across the new construction, energy, and education sectors. A long-time leader in clean energy, he has worked on solar projects in Southern Oregon since 2010. His contributions span over 300 solar projects, adding more than three megawatts of installed solar capacity to the community. Beyond his solar industry work, Shaun served on the Board of Trustees for Southern Oregon University, helping to guide the institution’s future and advance its sustainability initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering and civic engagement. He currently serves on the Amigo Club board which is dedicated to fostering and supporting significant cultural and educational exchanges, building stronger bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between the communities of Ashland and Guanajuato, Mexico.
