Pickleball 101/New Member Social

Sixteen Rotarians and guests took to the courts on Saturday, March 7th to learn pickleball tips and tricks and get a better feel for the game behind our annual fundraiser event. Several folks may have “caught the pickleball bug” as some played for over 90 minutes and might still be playing if it wasn’t for the promise of refreshments at Gold Rush Brewery afterwards.

The entire group, including five newer club members, gathered at Gold Rush to get to know each other better and share new pickleball stories, “Did you see George dive trying to get that great shot?”. “No, I think he just tripped over his own feet”. We will never know for sure, but either way, it was another great event hosted by our Fellowship Committee.

Our sixth annual Medford Rogue Rotary Pickleball Fest fundraiser will be held August 28-30th this year at the new Lithia & Driveway Pickleball Park.
