Medford Rogue Rotary was the lead club, along with the Jacksonville-Applegate and Reedsport Rotary Clubs, in planning, fund raising, and implanting the installation of 300 water filtration systems in a remote area of Puerto Rico where few people have potable water available in their homes. It was heartwarming to meet the people of the Yabucoa area and see the strength of their community spirit. The team of 10 Rotarians and family members implemented the project March 10 -15th thanks to the leadership and coordination effort of Jorge Coromac, Director – Woodland Public Charity.
