πŸ•ŠοΈ Give Peace an Hour

September 21 is International Day of Peace. As Rotarians β€” People of Action β€” we don’t just mark the day. We do something with it.

This year, Rotary Club of Medford Rogue is marking it by supporting Peace in the Midst of Diversity.

Here’s the challenge: give peace one hour of your day.

  • Go quiet. Phone off, news off. Walk, breathe, just be still for an hour.
  • Build a bridge. Reach out to someone whose life, background, or beliefs look different from yours β€” someone you’d normally never cross paths with. Ask real questions. Actually listen.
  • Be kind. Call someone who’s lonely. Help a neighbor. Say thank you β€” or go start a RAK Attack.

That’s it. One hour. Any of the three. Or make up your own.

Peace doesn’t happen by accident β€” it happens because someone decided to make room for it. This year, let that someone be you.

September 21. One hour. Your choice of how.

Keep Going β€” Play the Peace Game

The next Peace Game for Rotarians begins September 22, offering eight weeks of practical ways to build peace in our clubs, communities, and daily lives β€” all connected to Rotary and the Four-Way Test.

September 22–November 10 | Tuesdays, 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
