Thank you volunteers!

Our Club’s fifth annual Pickleball Fest finished up on Sunday, September 7th, after 3 days of play and helped us set a new record for fund raising for this event. The success of this event is only possible by the dedication and hard-work of our dedicated volunteers.

Just under 40 of our club members volunteered for one or more shifts for our Thursday “court preparation” day and/or Friday-Sunday shifts staffing either the registration booth, the rotary tent and/or assisting with daily set-up and tear down. Many folks worked multiple days of the event. A handful of volunteers participated on the year-long planning committee.

In addition to our club members, we also had help from our friends at SOPA (Southern Oregon Pickleball Association) and friends/family of our club.

Volunteering for the event presents a great fellowship opportunity to interact with, and learn more about each other. Thank you all for giving us your time and making this year’s event a great success.
