Nature Motor Sensory Path Volunteer Painting Project

Friday · 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM
Abraham Lincoln Elementary School
3101 McLoughlin Dr, Medford, OR 97504

It’s time for Medford Rogue Rotary’s next volunteer project – painting a nature motor sensory path at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School.  This will primarily be for the students that need to take a few minutes to get themselves under control but will likely be used by many students as it’s pretty cool.  We’ll need to power wash the 60 foot by 20 foot area on Friday.  Saturday will be painting areas with marching ants, leaping frog prints, tight rope walking, bear crawl, stepping stones, elephant walk, tiptoe along a snake, crab crawl, follow the footprints, daisy hopscotch, jump the logs, a yoga tree pose, lunges, squats and jumping jacks.  Sunday will paint the secondary colors on 3-5 of the stenciled areas.

Friday, October 9: we are looking for 3 people with power washings for approximately one hour (time to be determined by volunteers).
Saturday, October 10: 4 people to set up the stencils on Saturday morning 8 am-9:30 am
Saturday, October 10: 9 people to paint (one person per color) 9:30-noon (approximately)
Sunday, October 11: 4 people to add the details to the stencils (this will be bending or sitting on the ground) 11:00 am- noon (approximately)

ADDITIONAL NEEDS:
8 6-inch roller brushes with at least 8 rollers
9 extension handles for the brushes
2 small buckets
sidewalk chalk

Please let me know if you have any of these items available so we don’t have to purchase them.  Feel free to respond to this email  We can pick up or you can bring to a Rotary meeting
