Club Meeting Sept 25th- Reflections of a Life’s Mission

Today our speaker was none other than Dr. Ron Worland, who was introduced by the elusive Darren Ravissapour.

Ron regaled us with stories from just a small amount of his volunteer service around the globe. Including projects with Operation Smile, Rotoplast, running a clinic in Oaxaca, MX for over 19 years and more. With over 1000 cleft surgeries alone Ron’s life mission has been an amazing success and example to us all.

In attendance were our District Governor Nelson R. Maler and Asst. Governor Michelle Corradetti together with our President Rachel Torres presented Ron Worland with an award for his Lifetime of Achievement Exemplifying Service Above Self. Ron is truly an example of what being a Rotarian is all about.
