District Awards were presented at the Mill Valley Casino, site of this year’s District 5110 Conference. Our club received 5 awards recognizing service in several areas. Gerry Burns was present at the conference and was recognized for his Significant Service to our club for his 39 years of contributions, including 17 years as Treasurer and also serving as President for the rotary year ’19-20. Nice job Gerry!

Although unable to be there in person, Pat Barry and Sally Buck won awards for Outstanding Support of Interact and Outstanding Support for Rotary Youth Exchange respectively for the great work they are doing with our youth programs. George Prokop received recognition for Outstanding Website for the work the Public Image and Relations Committee has done to update and automate our website.

And, Joy Marshall, was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Award for 2023-2024, for her work driving the launch of the first annual Winter in Candyland event. Woohoo Joy!  Although Joy was unable to attend in person, Kellie Hill accepted Joy’s award, a beautiful star-shaped crystal, on her behalf.

Congratulations to everyone.
