Fueling Student Success at Innovation Academy
Innovation Academy has become one of Medford’s educational success stories. Once an alternative for students struggling in traditional high school, it has grown into a thriving school that students actively choose to attend!Medford Rogue Rotary has a history with Innovation Academy, including creating the original Tiger Den before the school moved into its innovative learning environment on Center Drive. Now we have another opportunity to help!
Principal Cass Thonstad tells us that students frequently request portable, grab-and-go snacks to get through the school day or take home. Snacks are also especially appreciated during after-school tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Here’s how Rotarians can help: bring individually packaged, easy-to-carry snacks such as granola bars, crackers, trail mix, pretzels, or other nonperishable treats. Please bring your snack donations to our club meetings on October 28 or November 4.
A small snack can make a big difference in a student’s day. Let’s help fuel their success!
