Health tip of the month:   Managing Seasonal Allergies

Spring has sprung and so has seasonal allergy season.  This time of year, we’re looking for symptomatic relief of allergies.  Recently, there has been a conversion of prescription medication to over the counter.  Nasal Sprays (Flonase, Nasonex, Nasacort), Eye Drops (Naphcon A, Pataday, Zaditor), and Oral Medication (Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra) were prescription only and now are available OTC.    If you suffer from allergies, don’t hesitate to review the OTC selection for relief.  Remember, if you take prescription medications, check with your provider or pharmacist for the best product to avoid interactions.
