“Winter in Candyland” 2025 a huge success

The Family Nurturing Center and Medford Rogue Rotary offered a weekend of fun on February 1st and 2nd during the “Winter in Candyland” event at The Expo in Central Point. The sweetest event of the year attracted almost 4000 people, an increase of more than 30% over last year. The event included a life-sized Candyland village with interactive games along with kings and queens and other characters from the board game.

Each family attending received a free Candyland board game to encourage families to play together. Research shows that families that play games like Candyland or Chutes and Ladders together just 30 minutes a week will greatly contribute to a child’s preparedness for kindergarten.
