Goooooooaaaaallllllll! to have some fun and raise a little $ along the way

It’s World Cup Soccer time!  In keeping with Rotary’s international reach throughout the world, the Medford Rogue Rotary Club is offering you the opportunity to adopt a FIFA World Cup soccer team.  For a mere $60 you can be the proud owner of one team in the Round of 16!

Between June 24th and July 1st you will have the opportunity to buy a “square.”  The square that you buy will be randomly assigned to a country’s soccer team that has reached the Round of 16.  If the team that is assigned to your square goes on to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup championship, then you will be awarded 1000 Paul Harris Fellow points!

The proceeds from the sale of the squares will go to offset the Club’s expenses for hosting our Italian inbound exchange student , Gloria Cadeddu, who will be arriving August 15th.  Excellente!

There will only be 16 squares sold so you better act quickly!!  You can purchase your square at the June 24th or July 1st Club meetings.  If you are interested in purchasing a square for $60, but can’t make it to a meeting, please contact Gary Newland (gdnew@charter.net) or Pat Barry (pjbarry5@gmail.com)
