Service Sparks: Rotary Idea Lab
No speaker this week. Just a room full of Rotarians solving problems.
This week, our Rotary Club rolled up our sleeves in a different way through a hands-on Service Sparks: Rotary Idea Lab focused on shaping the future of our service project work.
Members gathered in small groups to explore real community needs, from housing and food insecurity to senior isolation and financial stability. Together, they worked to design new, hands-on service projects our club could take on right here in our community.
In just 30 minutes, the room generated incredible energy and ideas. Through collaboration and voting, several top priorities emerged and will now move forward for further exploration by the project committee. Some of the ideas included:
Financial Literacy Night
Medford Food Project/Adopt Travel way or Food Bank
Elder Angels (addressing Isolation and help around the home)
Career Student Engagement/Rotary Career Discovery Day
Senior + Youth Engagement
Transportation
Housing Renovation
This session wasn’t just about ideas, it was about moving forward with some actionable projects. It’s a powerful reminder of what happens when people come together with a shared purpose: Service Above Self.
Stay tuned as these ideas continue to take shape into future Rotary projects.
If you missed it you can find recordings of our meetings posted (may take a few days) on our YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@MedfordRogueRotary-j6y

I went to locate the meeting recording using the provided link above. All I could find were meeting recordings from 2025.
Yes we are aware and working through getting them uploaded and available again
However, this meeting in particular will not have a good recording as work was happening at 8 tables around the room so not the type of meeting that would have recorded well.
