Pickleball/Pickle Trivia at Hummingbird Estate Fellowship Event
Do you know which Sesame Street character’s name is actually a special pickleball shot? Or which type of pickle is Bruce Garetto’s favorite? If you answered “no” you would have been in good company at our club’s fellowship event last Wednesday.
Over thirty Rotarians and guests had a wonderful evening of fellowship at Hummingbird Estate playing pickleball/pickle trivia and related games of skill(?) in celebration of our upcoming 5th Annual Pickleball Fest fundraiser. Sixteen Medford Rogue Rotarians were joined by friends and family and fellow Rotarians from both the Jacksonville-Applegate and Medford Rotaries at the event. Attendees also got a sneak peek at a few of the silent auction items which will be available for bidding at the Pickleball Fest on August 5-7th at Fichtner Manwaring Park.
Incidentally, Bruce Garetto is especially fond of dill pickles. I had him pegged as a sweet baby gherkin kinda guy.
