September blood drive surpasses goal
Seventeen people rolled up their sleeves and gave blood on Tuesday, September 9th, donating 20 units of blood, one unit more than the 19-unit goal. Donors included 3 first-timers. Thank you to all the donors and to St. Mark’s Parish for hosting the American Red Cross team. KOBI Blood Drive coverage
New “In the Bag” guest program
Don’t forget our new, “In the Bag” program, a program designed to encourage club members to bring guests who are interested in Rotary to learn more and potentially tell others about what we do. Every week, each adult guest and the sponsoring Rotarian who brings the guest will be entered in a monthly drawing. At…
NIC Industries Tour
Fifteen Medford Rogue Rotarians were treated to an awesome tour of NIC Industries’ headquarters and manufacturing facility in White City last Wednesday. David Meador, Director of Strategic Engagement, provided an overview of their business, along with a brief history, before leading us on a tour of this modern facility. NIC Industries founded over 35 years…
Special September 3rd Club Meeting
Make plans to arrive early for our September 3rd club meeting. In addition to a great program on Artificial Intelligence by Jason Scott, we will be displaying 20+ silent auction items at the meeting that our club members may bid on/purchase before these are displayed at Pickleball Fest 2025 on September 5-7. We will also…
Fore!
Eight Rotarians along with friends and family members descended on TopTracer Driving Range last Thursday to work on their game and have some laughs (not necessarily in that order). There were no reported injuries so that qualifies as a wildly successful event in our book. Thank you Fellowship Committee for another fun and well-organized event.
Pickleball/Pickle Trivia at Hummingbird Estate Fellowship Event
Do you know which Sesame Street character’s name is actually a special pickleball shot? Or which type of pickle is Bruce Garetto’s favorite? If you answered “no” you would have been in good company at our club’s fellowship event last Wednesday. Over thirty Rotarians and guests had a wonderful evening of fellowship at Hummingbird Estate…

Lithia & Driveway has been a very generous sponsor of our Pickleball Fest for all five years…
59th Annual Children’s Festival Support
Great turnout by Medford Rogue Rotary Rotarians to assist with the set-up and tear-down for the 59th Annual Children’s Festival in Jacksonville. This year’s theme was Embrace the Wild. Twenty-two Rotarians and eleven friends and family members came out to help set-up tents, assemble castles, displays and ticket booths on Saturday morning and then assist…
Blood Drive held at new location – St. Mark’s Church
Seventeen donors donated blood this past Monday, July 14th at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Summer months in particular experience a critical need for blood donations due to a significant decrease in donations coinciding with an increase in accidents and traumas. This reduction is primarily driven by schools being out of session, which reduces high school…
